Organic Languedoc Wine Grown Within and Around a Meteor Crater
It’s time to celebrate the end of lockdown with our highly acclaimed organic rosé wine. Named Le Météore after the 10,000-year-old meteor crater which lies at the heart of our domaine, and described as ‘dangerously delicious’ (Editor, Hello Magazine), this is the perfect way to welcome in summer and put stardust back in your glass.
Domaine du Météore is a vineyard located in the wild and mountainous Haut-Languedoc regional park, South West France. With minimal intervention, our range of organic wines truly give a sense of place, expressing both terroir and our unique astronomical history.
We offer five reds, two whites, and a rosé, noted for their complex flavour profiles and distinctive minerality. In fact, our Léonides Rouge was recently rated among the 10 best expressions of terroir in Southern France and the best value for money of this selection (Revue du Vin de France).

Testimonials
“With no cloying sweetness, there could scarcely be a better wine with which to celebrate the coming of spring’s warmer climes.”
Gabriel Power on Le Météore
“There’s a lovely purity to the fruit that is both enticing and refreshing. The palate combines bright acidity and smooth tannins with lively, mouth-filling fruit, but this immediately pleasurable and primary character is underpinned by a subtle complexity that nods to minerality and spice.”
Katherine Dart MW on Léonides Rouge
